From the World of Coke and local southern cuisine to hip-hop and the Fox Theatre —the city is full of excitement.

10. The Varsity

The Varsity is not only the world’s largest drive-in, but it’s also arguably Atlanta’s most famous restaurant. Most days, the restaurant claims to go through an estimated two miles of hot dogs, 2,500 pounds of potatoes and 300 gallons of chili. In ONE DAY. Those figures are still relatively slow compared to Georgia Tech game days, when The Varsity is visited by an estimated 30,000 people. Another fun fact? The Varsity’s been around longer than the famous Atlanta novel, “Gone With The Wind.”
