Automation Solutions Group Takes a Crucial Step Toward User and Solution Provider Collaboration
Kevin Vliet, Director, Material Flow Engineering at Tesla Motors has joined the new Automation Solutions Group (ASG) of MHI as its first General Member Representative. MHI has recently taken a strong leadership position in the material handling & supply chain collaboration space and the ASG is at the forefront of that effort.
The role Kevin takes on brings the first of many voices from the automation user community into direct contact with the broad and deep pool of automation industry experts that are member companies of MHI.
As General Member Representative, he will join ASG leadership to set priorities for addressing market challenges, trends and issues related to automation and he will provide a sounding board for the ASG as they consider how to bring thought leadership and clarity to a period of rapidly accelerating technology innovation in the automation space.
The MHI Automation Solutions Group members are Industry’s thought leaders of automation software, hardware and services that support a fully integrated supply chain. They collaborate on solutions worldwide and in virtually every major manufacturing and distribution sector.
