Cisco’s Jack Allen to Discuss the Connected Supply Chain at MODEX Keynote

Jack Allen is the keynote speaker at MODEX 2016 on April 5 in Atlanta. Allen is the Senior Director of Logistics and Manufacturing Solutions for Cisco’s Supply Chain Operations group.

His passion and focus is creating better-than-world-class logistics and manufacturing solutions organizations and developing the leadership talent to move that forward.

At Cisco, Mr. Allen manages the forward and reverse logistics, transport, warehousing, packaging engineering, and customer logistics for a worldwide logistics network, as well as strategic sourcing and partner/supplier management for ODM/OEM products and outsourced supply chain service providers, that supports Cisco’s annual revenue stream of over $40B.

During this keynote, you’ll learn how, under his leadership, Cisco’s supply chain organization  increased its scope while generating significant cost savings and implementing organizational and systems changes that align with industry best practices – all while keeping a keen eye on satisfying true customer needs.

You’ll also gain valuable insight into how re-engineer your own operations into a more “connected supply chain” that connects factories, warehouses, DCs, logistics partners, suppliers and design partners into one integrated system.

Mr. Allen came to Cisco from Scientific Atlanta, Inc. when it was acquired by Cisco in 2006, bringing over 20 years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sales and general management.
