Fourth Annual MHI Innovation Awards Honors MODEX Exhibitor Products, Solutions in Three Categories

For the fourth year, MHI honors the most innovative products and solutions in our industry. At MODEX 2016 exhibitors were invited to submit entries in three different categories: Best New Innovation, Best Innovation of an Existing Product and Best IT Innovation.
We received 95 entries between the three categories—an increase from 84 entrants at MODEX 2014. It’s a clear demonstration that MODEX exhibitors are dedicated to continuous creativity, innovation and improvement throughout the industry.
Prior to the show, submissions were judged by a committee of industry experts, narrowing down each category to four finalists. On Monday at MODEX, finalists’ exhibits were visited in person by the judges, and winners were selected. The winning products and technologies were specifically recognized for delivering quantifiable and sustainable return on investment (ROI), cost savings and customer satisfaction.
We announced the winners on Wednesday during MHI’s Industry Night celebration. That gave show attendees plenty of time to visit the 12 finalists and check out the entries during the first three days of the show.
