Internet of Things Category Introduced for AIM Competition

The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) has announced the newest version of its annual Case Study Competition. The 2016 competition will present a top prize to the case study that promotes the best use of Internet of Things technologies.

Mary Lou Bosco, COO of AIM, Inc. says about the competition, “This is truly an exciting milestone for AIM and the industry. As the Internet of Things grows, we are seeing a significant number of new and unique innovations being applied throughout the global marketplace. These technologies and the creative minds behind them are the reason we felt now was time to launch the Internet of Things category as part of the AIM Case Study Competition.”

All interested parties can submit a nomination for a fully functional installation in three categories:

  • AIDC – Automatic Identification and Data Capture
  • IoT – Internet of Things
  • RFID – Radio Frequency Identification
