MHI Annual Conference – Material and Supply Chain Technology

We’re getting closer and closer to the Annual Conference. Here at MHI HQ, we’re very busy managing all the last minute details that go into making the conference a wonderful experience for you, but we’re super excited too. Status: busy, but stoked.

The class and lab tracks for this year are going to be awesome, but what makes it so great is that not only are we excited, but the presenter’s are as well. We recently received this video from Matt Yearling, CEO of PINC, teasing what’s coming up during his session of the conference.

Along with Jay Kim, APX Labs, and Jeff Carbeck, Deloitte, Yearling will be facilitating the lab track session for Material and Supply Chain Technology on Tuesday, October 18th at 9:00 AM. We’re hearing a lot of talk right now about autonomous vehicles and drones, and it seems like that will be the supply chain technology of tomorrow. Yearling will be bringing a big box of amazing tech and will hold conversation about the value the technologies hidden within bring to customers.

This workshop brings state-of-the-art warehouse automation technologies to life. You will see and play with technologies such as augmented reality, drones. Technology by itself is of little use if it’s not readily applicable. The session will show how these technologies can be utilized to create bottom line impact.

Taking place on October 17-19, 2016 in Tucson, AZ, the MHI Annual Conference focuses on key themes identified by the US Roadmap for Material Handling & Logistics and the MHI 2016 Annual Industry Report. Conference participants learn how to utilize these trends and innovations and seize new opportunities that produce tangible results; additionally, they have the opportunity to participate in Product and Solutions Groups meetings that help shape the future of our industry.
