MODEX Exhibitors Donating Booth Items to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity offers Sustainable Solution for Discarded MODEX Booth Items

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity will be accepting donations of discarded booth items for their ReStore, which sells donated items to the general public.

This provides an opportunity for MODEX exhibitors to do some good for the Atlanta community, demonstrating corporate responsibility through a sustainable solution. Rather than ship or discard booth items, MODEX exhibitors will generate revenue that will help working families, sponsors, and communities build affordable, green, quality, energy-efficient homes and provide support services that promote successful home purchase and ownership.

Some examples of items that are typically sold in the ReStore include hand carts, hand trucks, platform trucks, dollies, large plastic crates, storage bins, cabinets, small moving equipment, hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, and other items including décor, small appliances, and furniture.

Donations of shopping bags, bubble wrap, and reusable bags can be used in the ReStore, while carts, dollies and other similar equipment could be used in the construction warehouse or ReStore, helping the organization keep operating costs low so more funds go toward their mission.

Exhibitors interested in donating items can learn more at the Sales & Information Booth 3107 on the MODEX Show Floor.
