5 Ways to Build Meaningful Connections in MHI’s Young Professionals Network
MHI understands the power of networking especially as you learn, grow, and navigate your career. That’s why we’re proud to power the MHI Young Professional Network (YPN) to help you engage and develop as future leaders of the material handling industry.
The network is open to any employee of a MHI member company or practitioner company with a supply chain title. Not sure if you’re considered a “young” professional? No worries, MHI YPN has several member categories for those both under and older than 40.
MHI YPN supports many different opportunities year-round to help you get involved in the industry, grow your skillset and make new and lasting connections. Here are five ways to build meaningful connections by participating in MHI’s Young Professionals Network:
1. Coffee Chats
Held the second Wednesday of each month, the chats are a virtual networking event aimed to bring together young professionals to discuss various topics. Grab your favorite cup of joe and enjoy a laidback and welcoming environment to catch up with your peers.
2. Book Club
Love a good book? Join other young professionals in a small group (virtual) setting to discuss a different book every quarter. See inspiring and thought-provoking book selections and make your own book recommendations to the group!
3. Webinars
Throughout the year, YPN hosts webinars focused on professional development. With engaging and informative speakers, we have a topic for everyone. Stay tuned to see what educational webinars we have planned for you in 2024 and view webinar recordings from 2023.
4. Events
At ProMat and MODEX show, the MHI Spring Meeting and the MHI Annual Conference, YPN holds in-person networking receptions. This is your chance to meet face-to-face with you peers, catch up and enjoy a beverage or two! 5. Emerging Leaders Conference
