MHI Helps the Homeless Children of Charlotte by Volunteering at Bright Blessings

Every holiday season MHI makes a point to giveback to our local community here in Charlotte, NC. This year MHI helped the homeless children of Charlotte by volunteering at Bright Blessings.

Bright Blessings is a wonderful non-profit organization founded by John and Amy Cervantes in 2005.  The organization is volunteer based and “thanks to the helping hands and hearts of our volunteers and supporters, the programs of Bright Blessings will bring joy, care, and hope to more than 13,000 homeless and impoverished children this year.”

MHI staff volunteered by assembling hygiene kits and gift bags to help nearly 100 children in homelessness and impoverished situations. This includes 25 clean and cozy sets (hygiene kits for babies), 50 hygiene kits and 20 decorated gift bags. MHI proudly sponsored all of the packages put together totaling $500.00.

It was a pleasure to giveback to children in need in our local community and Bright Blessings made it very easy to get involved! To learn more about how you can volunteer or donate visit https://www.brightblessingsusa.org.
