MHI member companies have the opportunity to join any of MHI’s Product or Solutions Groups. Product Groups share information and conduct research to stay at the forefront of their industry. Solutions Groups bring MHI members together with equipment and systems users to collaborate and address common challenges an opportunities in manufacturing and the supply chains in a “safe harbor” environment. MHI Launches New Blog – Warehouse Automation
MHI recently launched a blog that concentrates on warehouse and distribution center automation and robotics solutions. The AGVS, ASRS, CSS, Solutions Community and TRG Industry Groups of MHI collaborated on the creation of this new informational and news resource for manufacturing and supply chain professionals. The MHI Warehouse Automation Blog will feature regular updates from industry experts on the latest trends and technologies in this space. MHI Launches New Blog – Overhead Lifting
A new blog page, Overhead Lifting, has been created to highlight the benefits of Overhead Lifting. The blogs posted will feature and promote information created by CMAA, HMI, and MMA, groups which form the Overhead Alliance. New blogs will be posted several times a month and will contain information such as the latest specifications, operational manuals, best practices, product guides, and operational and safety checklists with links to get more details. CSS Publishes New Handbook
Handling Applications with Conveyor and Sortation Systems, provides an overview of the different possible functional applications of conveyors and sortation systems within warehouses and distribution centers.
LODEM Video Published
LODEM recently published a new video on MHI View titled, Improving the Safety and Efficiency of Your Loading Dock.
