ProMat 2011 Opens in Chicago Today!
The best and brightest of the material handling, supply chain and logistics industry have gathered in Chicago for ProMat 2011.
The show kicked off with the opening ceremonies for ProMat and Automate 2011. Material Handling Industry of America’s (MHIA) Chairman Larry Strayhorn and Automation Technologies Council President Jeff Burnstein as well as John Nofsinger, CEO of MHIA and George Prest, COO of MHIA were on hand to start off the show.
Over the next four days, ProMat attendees will see over 700 material handling, supply chain and logistics providers that will be showcasing their productivity solutions for warehousing, manufacturing, logistics and distribution operations.
Also, the ProMat Educational Conference features Keynotes will speak on supply chain security and the next generation of robotic innovation. Half-day educational tracks on the people side of the supply chain and supply chain sustainability will also be included.
