Reaching Across International Waters

President Obama recently enacted the National Export Initiative which requests that the government and private sector double the value of US exports over the next five years.

Five years? That’s not a very long time to double our exports. So many are asking – how do we do it?

Well, as this article from World Trade, WT100 states, trade shows!

Trade shows like ProMat 2011 are great places for your company to create international relationships with buyers and vendors. In fact, ProMat is designated by the Department of Commerce as an official International Buyer Program event and currently boasts around 12% non-US registrants, representing 102 countries.

ProMat 2011 also offers an International Matchmaker Program which matches vendors and buyers by their registration information. So when international attendees arrive a ProMat, they have a tailored list of companies to visit.
