Finding qualified employees for the supply chain industry may currently be difficult, but work is being done to ensure this changes in the future.

There are solutions to the talent scarcity but the industry needs to collaborate. The disconnect between educational facilities and employers means students are not always learning the technological skills they need and are sometimes graduating with knowledge that is already outdated. Industry needs to bridge the gap and communicate it’s needs to schools. Steve Harrington, Industry Liaison of the National Center for Supply Chain Technology Education, explains his focus is getting talent into the industry faster and with the skills they need.
