Day 1 Recap at MODEX 2024
MODEX 2024’s opening day was highly anticipated by supply chain professionals worldwide. With groundbreaking robotics, software solutions and more, promising a glimpse into the future of our industry, you could really see the full spectrum of the supply chain. Attendees on the show floor were excited to see all the tech on display and its potential to improve their supply chain operations. This year there are 1,200 exhibitors on the show floor displaying solutions covering the entire supply chain ecosystem. MODEX exhibitors are showcasing a variety of connected, smart automation solutions aimed at streamlining operations.
In addition to the exhibition, MODEX is hosting over 200 show floor sessions led by experts on various cutting-edge technologies and trends including theaters devoted to emerging tech, last mile logistics and sustainability.
Moreover, the event features five inspiring keynote speeches during the week. The first day attendees engaged in a compelling and insightful conversation with UPS’s Bill Seward telling his tales of the supply chain frontlines. In the afternoon keynote panel, Charting the Course for Smarter Ports, leading port authorities explored the challenges and successes ports have encountered while integrating digital technologies. Insights were shared on levering digital tech and building resiliency in their operations to help them navigate geopolitical and other supply chain risks.
At the Women and Supply Chain Forum, Shunta Grant led a workshop on Time Management: Seasons of Work and Life, equipping attendees with strategies for intentional living. This event allowed for women in our space to gain insights and connect with peers.
