Among these speakers is Jim Ripkey, MHEDA Member, ELC emcee and President of Industrial Equipment for Hy-Tek Material Handling. He has over 25 years of material handling dealership experience, including: overseeing sales, operations, marketing, and administration. He has facilitated workshops in areas of training, technology, and parts & service operations, and recruiting.
Ripkey began his career in material handling at Hy-Tek —a premier single-source provider of material handling solutions— in 1995 serving as Vice President and General Manager, as well as the company’s Director of Operations. For seven years Ripkey made a profound impact on business development at Hy-Tek. From there he spent the next decade holding executive positions in operations and sales with global lift truck dealer Barloworld Handling. After a 10 year absence Ripkey returned to Hy-Tek in 2013 as President of the Mobile Equipment Division.
