Join Us in Celebrating #GivingTuesday by Supporting the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI)
The holidays are approaching and if you’re like most, that means taking advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday! Getting ahead in our holiday shopping is great, but don’t forget about giving back this holiday season through #GivingTuesday, November 30th. This day was created in reaction against consumerism and was initially conceived as a causeless day of giving. The #GivingTuesday campaign encourages donations to any nonprofit as a way to give back to the community.
This year MHI is celebrating #GivingTuesday in an effort to raise funds for the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI). MHEFI is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide financial support for educational programs to engage and retain talent for the material handling industry. Since 1976, their programs have supported over 1,000 students and educators seeking pathways to quality educational programs and fulfilling careers. The demands of today’s global economy and fast-paced technological change reinforce the need to draw top talent to sustain and strengthen material handling and supply chain businesses for the future.
