Logistics & Warehousing Professionals Join Together for WERC 2023
The Annual WERC Conference is in full swing in Orlando, Florida. Disruption is a key theme of many of the educational sessions offered this week. Executives from such companies as Target, Home Depot, L’Oréal, and Kenco have led sessions that focus on such topics as building your workforce amidst escalating competition, making the most of your outsourcing relationship, and utilizing emerging digital technologies.
On today’s agenda, you can find a thought leader session at 1:45 in the Lake Highland room that explores the findings from WERC’s newly released DC Measures Survey and Report. The session will cover the latest developments in distribution strategies and operational metrics. For the first time this year, the report also highlights the increasing role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics.
On Monday, Jim Knight leaned into his experience as the former leader of global training for Hard Rock International to give a keynote about cranking up corporate growth. Today Libby Gill, a change management leader, will deliver a keynote about leading through disruption – a mode we have all been living in for the past few years. Attend the Orange Ballroom at 3:15 to hear how you can better inspire your teams to compete in a changing landscape.
Located at the beautiful Hilton Orlando, the WERC Annual Conference features fun networking activities. Last night, many of the guests mingled for a festive Havana Nights event. Tonight, the conference will entertain guests with a poolside reception.
To network and learn from your peers in the warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment industry, join the conference next summer. WERC 2024 will be held in Dallas, Texas on June 2-5.
