Map out Your Days at ProMat 2023

When attending an event, there is nothing worse than being unable to find your way around, or find a specific exhibitor or educational session—or a cup of coffee! To help you navigate all of the great features at this year’s show, we’ve put together some useful tips.

Getting to ProMat 2023

If you are driving to the show, use this McCormick Place map to get directions and locate parking lots. If you are want to take the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra Train, or walk to the show, this guide helps you with those modes of transportation.

Shuttle Bus Service

It’s easy to get to the show when you stay at a designated ProMat 2023 show hotel. You can just hop on a complimentary shuttle bus. They will run between the McCormick Place South and designated ProMat show hotels from March 20-23. They will run on designated routes every 15-20 minutes during the following hours:

Mon: 7AM – 11AM; 3PM – 6PM

TUES: 7AM – 11AM; 3PM – 7:30PM

WED: 7AM – 11AM; 3PM – 8PM

THURS: 7AM – 11AM; 2PM – 5PM

Navigating McCormick Place

The bus will drop you off at the South Building of McCormick Place. If you are arriving by taxi or Uber, tell them to drop you off at McCormick Place South. We recommend you first hit the nearby coat check on level 1 in Room S101. From there, you probably want to find ProMat Registration to pick up your badge. There is a registration counter on Level 1. This is handy if you are arriving in the morning and trying to catch the 8:45 AM morning keynote which is in Room S100. You can make your way up to the grand concourse, which connects the North and South building (see map below). Going up the stairs or escalators will take you to to the grand concourse on level 3. ProMat Main Registration will be on your left in the North Hall of ProMat. If you pre-registered for the show, you should have received a confirmation e-mail. Make sure to bring it with you to make your badge pickup faster and easier.

Now that you have coat/bag checked and picked up your badge, the trade show is your oyster! Here is where you can find some of the hot spots:

ProMat Show Floor: All exhibits and show floor educational session are located in the North and South show halls.

ProMat Keynotes: All keynote sessions and Industry Night with Nate Bargatze are located in Room S100 on Level 1.

International Attendees: International attendees can take advantage of the International Center located in meeting room S401 on Level 4 of McCormick South. Translators, charging stations, conference rooms and light refreshments will be available for international visitors during show hours.

Dining and Services: When you are ready to fuel up, the grand concourse is the place. On level 2.5 it offers various dining options, as well as other services:

  • food court/restaurants
  • business center
  • shops and services
  • metro trains
  • first aid

There is also the ProMat Bistro in the North Exhibit Hall.

Leaving the Show

We know you could look at supply chain technology all day, but, sadly, the McCormick Place has to close. Hotel shuttles will be waiting outside the South Building exit.  If you want a cab, those will line up in front of the Grand Concourse on Martin Luther King Drive. To ride the Metra Train, head to level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse.

Explore Chicago

Chicago is definitely a city worth exploring. If you still have energy left, there are plenty of restaurant and entertainment options to keep you happy after show hours.

See you at ProMat 2023!
