MODEX Keynote to Reveal 2024 Supply Chain Trends

Which supply chain technologies will be transformative in 2024? That is one of the questions answered by the 2024 MHI Annual Industry Report. The findings of the report will be revealed during the 2024 Annual Industry Report keynote, which is presented during MODEX.

MHI CEO John Paxton and Wanda Johnson of Deloitte will present the findings.  They will also be joined by a panel of the following thought leaders:

• Dr. Randy Bradley, Associate Professor of information systems and supply chain management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business
• Matthew Hough, CIO, Cintas
• Chaneta Sullivan, Director, Facility Development and Safety, Chick-fil-A Supply
• Archna Wunsch, Head of Global Strategy and Transformation, Cook Medical

The keynote will touch on such topics as how companies can remain competitive in a changing landscape, the impact of sustainability demands on the supply chain, the artificial intelligence revolution, and the adoption rate of emerging technologies.

The 2024 MHI Annual Industry Report is based on a survey of thousands of supply chain professionals. A key finding of the 2023 report was that 90% of respondents planned to invest more than $1 million in supply chain technology and innovation! Will companies be willing to splurge as much on digital technologies this year? As John Paxton recently wrote in his economic outlook for the MHEDA Journal, the high interest rates and weak growth in the Eurozone are some of the factors that could dampen investment in the first half of 2024. Yet, with lowered interest rates projected for Q3 and Q4, the forecast brightens as move further into 2024.

The MHI 2024 Annual Industry Report keynote is on March 13 at 1 PM in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center. Register now to attend MODEX 2024 March 11-14 and experience the full spectrum supply chain.

Following the keynote, the 2024 MHI Annual Report will be available to download.
