About Nancy
Nancy Ancowitz is a coach specializing in career advancement and presentation skills. Her book Self-Promotion for Introverts®: The Quiet Guide to Getting Ahead became a Publishers Weekly “best book” selection and offers advice in helping those who talk less get ahead. Nancy helps everyone from CEOs to young professionals, introverts to extroverts and business savvies to creatives, have influence in an audience or in a one-on-one setting.
Nancy is an instructor at New York University where she teaches communication skills. Courses include; Presentation Skills for Introverts, Self-Promotion for Introverts, public speaking and business writing. She has also spoken at several large corporations including the Smithsonian Institution, the US Navy, and the National Institutes of Health (to name a few).
Nancy spent 12 years on Wall Street at JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Citibank, where she ran successful marketing programs and was recognized for her outstanding achievements. In her early years, Nancy combined creativity and business skills working as a jewelry designer with clients such as Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. Today Nancy is vegan and a two-time marathoner who believes in lifelong fitness and well-being.
