Day 3 Recap at MODEX 2024

The atmosphere crackled with anticipation on Day 3 at MODEX 2024, maintaining the event’s reputation as the epicenter of the supply chain world in 2024. Just like its predecessors, Day 3 was a testament to MODEX’s commitment to innovation, connection, and industry progress. With record-breaking crowds of supply chain and manufacturing, professionals descended upon the event, setting new benchmarks and reflecting the industry’s growth.

The release of the 2024 MHI Annual Industry Report, titled “The Collaborative Supply Chain – Tech-Driven and Human-Centric,” took center stage. Presented by MHI CEO John Paxton and Deloitte’s Wanda Johnson, the report’s focus on technology-driven solutions intertwined with a human-centric approach resonated deeply.

Coach Nick Saban also shared his leadership insights, showcasing how principles of work ethic, grit, determination, and resilience propelled the University of Alabama to sustained success in college football.

MODEX attendees capped off their day with the prestigious MHI Innovation Awards, featuring entertainment by Colin Jost. Before the entertainment began, recognition was given to the winners of the MHI Innovation and StartUp Awards across categories like Best Innovation of an Existing Product, Best IT Innovation, and Best New Innovation in Sustainability. Proceeds from the event were directed towards the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s and MHEFI. Notably, the evening also saw the announcement of one lucky attendee winning a $30,000 dream vacation, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities. Colin Jost’s performance infused the evening with humor and excitement, wrapping up the night on a high note.

MODEX 2024 united over 45,000 professionals for insights and connections. As it ends anticipation mounts for the next installment: ProMat 2025 in Chicago next March. Stay tuned as the saga of supply chain excellence continues to unfold!
