“Jobs of Tomorrow”: From Ordinary to Extraordinary

“There is no way to hide.” That’s the message “Jobs of Tomorrow” brings about artificial intelligence (AI). As explained in the episode “From Ordinary to Extraordinary: Building Intelligent Supply Chains,” AI is beginning to change every link of the supply chain.

One of the reasons why companies are starting to adopt AI-powered technology is due to its problem-solving and predictive capabilities. Speaking in this episode, Dexory Cofounder Oana Jinga explains how most warehouses are currently “a little bit of a black hole.” However, with the addition of AI, Jinga believes that supply chains will be able to close the data loop and get greater insight into how product moves in and out of warehouses.

Kristi Montgomery, VP of Innovation, Research & Development, Kenco Group, cites AI’s ability to make objective decisions as another reason to adopt emerging technologies. She explains how AI can both reduce human error and give companies more data in real-time – which is the type of intelligence supply chains crave.

To learn more about AI’s amazing ability to sift through supply chain data, watch “From Ordinary to Extraordinary: Building Intelligent Supply Chains,” now.  To view additional “Jobs of Tomorrow” episodes, including shows with a focus on cybersecurity or sustainable packaging, check out season 2 of “Jobs of Tomorrow.
