MHI Young Professionals Network to Name 2016 YPN Awards at MODEX
The mission of the MHI Young Professionals Network (YPN) is to provide resources and programming to a diverse group of professionals looking to advance their careers in material handling, logistics and supply chain industries. Our goal is to increase industry retention, education and networking as well as to offer career support.
The YPN Awards honor material handling and supply chain professionals in the following categories: Outstanding Young Professional, and Mentor.
Outstanding Young Professional
Any MHI member under the age of 40 that has displayed the criteria below:
– Professional accomplishments and affiliations
– Demonstrated effective leadership skills and specific abilities
– Contributions to their company
– Innovation at work or in the industry
Mentor
Any MHI member that has displayed the following criteria:
– Offers professional guidance
– Is a positive and inspiring role model
– Instills and nurtures talent
– Advocates for employees and supports their professional development
– Possesses a commitment to the company and its people
Award finalists will be chosen from the pool of applicants/nominees and the winners will be announced at MHI Industry Night on April 6 at MODEX 2016 in Atlanta.
