Unit Load Design Course for Pallet Suppliers

This August the Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design at Virginia Tech is powering a short course for pallet suppliers on unit load design. This course will teach wood pallet and manufacturers, pallet brokers and pallet repair operators how to use pallet design differently.

Objectives:

– Learn to effectively design corrugated boxes
– Learn how to use pallet design to reduce packaging spend
– Reduce product damage
– Identify opportunities to reduce the operating cost of your supply chain
– Learn the principles of System Based Unit Load Design: the systems based optimization procedures that will improve customer service and increase your competitiveness
