Supply Chain Sustainability on the Rise
Despite the economic shock and supply chain disruptions from the pandemic, most companies continued their efforts to become more sustainable last year, according to the 2021 State of Supply Chain Sustainability report. Researchers from the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals surveyed about 2,400 supply chain professionals to produce this report.
The report shows that many companies, primarily large ones, stepped up their sustainability efforts last year, while some smaller companies scaled them back due to business volatility. North America accounted for 38% of respondents, more than any other region. Here are some of the other findings.
