The Hub

In our recent blog post about Disaster Plans & Relief we mentioned you could visit ALAN (American Logistics Aid Network) in “The Hub”.

Well, what is the The Hub?

The Hub is an interactive resource center that offers multiple informational and educational opportunities for ProMat visitors. The Hub will be located right in the center of the ProMat 2011 show floor and will feature several major attractions.

Special attractions include:

Social networking lounge and wireless internet center
Stop by, plug in, catch up. See what they’re saying about ProMat 2011 on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networks that the show is plugged into. It’s also where you can check emails and network with your peers.

ProMat 2011 Industry Resource Center and City of Chicago concierge services
Your home base for questions about ProMat 2011 from exhibitors to educational sessions to networking opportunities. In addition, the City of Chicago will be on hand to help guide you around the city, its entertainment options and restaurant lineup.

Everyone’s a student!
Education is everywhere at ProMat 2011. This central location will feature updates on seminar sessions, special presentations, keynotes and other educational activities. Concurrent educational programs sponsored by our Education Partners are featured along with the range of educational offerings after the show.

ALAN supports humanitarian relief efforts through the supply chain community. Learn about ALAN’s work, the many organizations that make disaster relief possible and how you can become involved.
